TAS Plan Review
TAS Plan Review includes the formal review of construction documents as required by Texas Government Code, Chapter 469. The typical turnaround time for a plan review is 3-4 weeks from the date the submittal is received by our office. The plan review worksheet and compliance letter are sent to the client and building/facility owner via e-mail. In an effort to keep our clients in compliance with AB, the submittal documents, including plans and registration forms, are always reviewed to ensure compliance with AB submittal deadlines and requirements. The fee for the TAS Plan Review is based upon the estimated cost of construction. Please see the Fee Schedule under the Forms & Fees tab.
If your project's total estimated cost is less than $50,000.00, you are not required to submit the project to the Department for registration and review, however, the project is still required to comply with TAS. Projects with costs of $50,000 or more are required to submit a full set of construction documents in accordance with Administrative Rule 68.50. If you would like, you can contact TDLR's Elimination of Architectural Barriers office by sending your inquiry via e-mail to email@example.com.
